POWERPOINT TUTORIAL

With the pace of business gaining speed every day, the ability to exchange information in a precise, effective way is becoming more and more important. PowerPoint is the media of choice for executives today. It visually reinforces the information you are presenting and allows the audience to absorb complex information through the use of graphics, text art, animation, and more!

PowerPoint Tutorial is the essential first course for anyone wanting to learn PowerPoint from the beginning. You don't need to be a computer wizard to take this course. We use simple, step-by-step instructions that are reinforced using picture examples. What a great way to learn! Students will design their own PowerPoint presentation as they take this course. When they are done, they will have a quality presentation that can be immediately used.

The Workspace

Working in a style

Working with bullets

Bullets are a powerful way to present your information in an outline view. This keeps your audience focused on you, not your presentation, while at the same time reinforcing what you are presenting.

Formatting bullets

Now that you have added the bullets, you might want to change their appearance.

Charts and Graphs

The best way to present complicated statistics is to use a graph or chart. It instantly shows the viewer what they are most interested in.

Including Objects

Ever see those fancy timelines and process flow diagrams in a presentation and wondered how the presenter did it? We will take the mystery out of this process in this module.

WordArt

A good way to get your audiences attention is to use graphically enhanced text. Students will learn how to work with WordArt to create eye-catching words on the slide to focus the viewer on what they are saying.
